The first quake was reported around 7:45 p.m., and was centered south of San Ramon. The second one, a 2.9 magnitude earthquake, was reported just before 8 p.m. It was followed by a 3.8 magnitude quake, a fourth 4.0 magnitude earthquake, a fifth 3.1 magnitude earthquake and a 2.9 magnitude quake. @nb
